Dear Tampa Bay Rays,

No matter what any bitter Red Sux fan says, you guys deserved that 162 win. You guys battled back from a huge deficit in the standings, never gave up, and for that, I truly respect all of you. You taught me that the little guy can always win, that no matter how big a hole you are in, you can get out, and that you don’t need to give one player a long $100MM contract in order to win and make the playoffs. You showed me that preseason projections mean nothing, that proving all the haters wrong is the best kind of revenge there is, and that you can always “find another way” to be the best. But most of all, you gave me the most emotion, amazing, heart warming, incredible, awe-inspiring, and HISTORY MAKING game I have ever seen. I never gave up on you guys and I’m so glad you didn’t give up either, unlike that team up north whose fans are still bitching.

Oh, and PS, Evan Longoria, you will forever hold a special place in my heart for those two home runs.
